Getting started

If you're new to DEXs or DeFi in general, there are a couple of steps you need to complete when interacting with a web application (WebApp). The first of all of course is creating your wallet. You can learn how to create your Aura Network wallet in the official documentation here.

Connecting your wallet

The first step once you have your wallet and funds is gonna be connecting your wallet to the webapp. It's a very simple process that should take a few seconds once you've setup your wallet. Let's see how to do so.

  1. Go to HaloTrade and click on Connect Wallet.
  2. Select your wallet provider from the options available in the popup.
  3. You'll see a Welcome message and be prompted to sign a message with your wallet agreeing to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Click on Accept and Sign if you agree after you have reviewed them.
  4. On your wallet, you will be prompt to sign a message to authenticate yourself. Click on Confirm once you have reviewed the message to sign with your wallet.

And that's it! You can now interact with HaloTrade and use all of our features. You can click on the top right to view your wallet details in HaloTrade and you should see your address and AURA balance. You can also view transactions and analyze your wallet.
